At Harness Leadership, we are dedicated to creating corporate climate change. We collaborate with our client organizations to understand their business goals and challenges to help customize an approach to leadership that builds a shared language and shared culture of learning.

We believe that everyone in your organization has a contribution to make, and we engage with leaders to make that possible.  We go beyond offering "off-the-shelf" training by implementing long-term strategies. Organizations we've worked with have used The Leadership Challenge for two, five or even ten years to sustain their powerful leadership culture.

Renee Harness

Founder & CEO

Renee has led leadership development initiatives since 1999 within companies such as Charles Schwab and Co., Inc., Roche Diagnostics and Third Eye Leadership. She has consulted in both corporations and government agencies to bring culture-changing impact of The Leadership Challenge® and The Leadership Practices Inventory®.  

In 2006, Renee began consulting in organizations and has sought to  increase the quality and quantity of leaders in the world through her expertise in The Leadership Challenge. She formed Harness Leadership to help leaders intentionally focus on their leadership and the positive impact that they can have on others. Renee has helped thousands of leaders find their voice and translate that into an inspiring vision for themselves and their organizations.

Tom Pearce

Consultant

Tom’s mission in life is to build stronger leaders, better teams and healthier organizations.  Tom is one of 40+ Certified Masters around the world who teach The Leadership Challenge with the approval of Wiley Publishing and the authors, Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner.  In 2015, Tom was recognized with the “Star Player” award by the authors for his contribution to the Leadership Challenge community and for his excellence in teaching and mentoring others.  He is also an LPI-360 Certified Coach and Master Facilitator.

Tom is also the former Vice President of HR and Administration for ARCO China where he supervised twenty-five people and managed a budget of $8 million.  He has been on assignment in Indonesia, London, Shanghai, Malaysia, and Dubai.

Amy Dunn

Consultant

As a leadership facilitator and coach, Amy leverages her direct experience and evidence-based programs to optimize talent at the individual, team, and organizational level.  Her years as a successful Vice President of HR and Talent Management keep her consulting grounded in the real-life challenges and pressures leaders face.

Amy’s work centers on carefully selected programs and tools that are proven to increase leadership effectiveness, team cohesion, employee engagement, and organizational health.  She is a practical, results-driven person who is motivated by bringing out the best in people and organizations.  Amy’s work and consulting experience spans several industries including insurance, financial services, telecommunications, professional services, and government organizations.
